I started following football late into the 04/05 season and out of the four teams (norwich, WBA, C palace) fighting against relegation, I remembered the commentator saying Saints were in the premier league since the beginning and started backing them to not get relegated and have been following them since.
 
SAINTS 14.....where in trinidad are you???....i honestly thought i was the only saints fan in trinidad....and why saints??
i was born in winchester and grew up in fair oak..,,moved to trinidad in the late 80's.

At least it's not because of Kenwyne Jones. Stern John, I would understand.

I was going for the username Trini Saint but it was already taken :biggrin:
Have you seen any places selling Southampton jerseys, imagine I have seen Sunderland and Norwich jerseys but not Saints :huh:

Having heard that, I now feel confident that on September 1st we can draw a blue line under this transfer window, look at who's on the bus and get an honest, hard working group of professionals to win games of football.

That's what it's all about - winning gamse of football.
 
Cove just said the chances of us getting Clasie have got better as they have signed a player he thinks they have brought in to replace him.

4-3-3 but two defensive players just behind Clasie.
 
Just been checking some comments from Inter fans. Not too happy about the alleged Osvaldo deal.

They're saying that Taïder is promising and needs time, whereas Osvaldo is a 28 year old ego who still hasn't settled down.

My dutch football watching friend doesn't think Claasie is an attacking midfielder at all, says he thniks he would be much more a repalcement for Schneiderlin than brought in to play with him. Who knows what Koeman is thinking though
