Yeah, I remember someone saying that, I wasn't aware it was you. But anyway, it was just an example. I don't know about other Saints fans, but a watched him in a number of matches. I think it's pretty much acknowledged that he was one of the standout performers in otherwise dire Norwich season. I wouldn't be very happy if Redmond is a type of player we're looking to play in the first eleven, but as an option from the bench, and a player who is still young and can develop with time, I think he's worth a punt. And if Pelle is anything like Van Wolfswinkel, we're as good as down. But I don't think he is, and I don't think even you think that.
Until Jay gets back, it'll probably be both. After that we'll have a good idea of which should play more but I'm definitely with you for now/in theory.

Have to say, if we do actually sign the list of players we're being attached with... that's a pretty good team on paper. One that if I looked at it, doesn't seem worse than last year's team. Of course there's the issue if gelling, and if they'll be happy here and many of them have not played PL. So I'm not denying there's a huge risk there. But these are also not players you would look to sign (or who would come here) if we are just cheaping out. They are mostly players I'd have been happy to see us bring in even if we'd maintained our squad.
