you'd think so anyway but i just expect fireworks from the off today. I don't know if dhoni just got so annoyed or what but there was no sticking round playing for time late on yesterday par se. it was runs.

Over night maybe he'll have cooled and thought to try to get til lunch then bowl slwo at england fro the rest of day. i hope for fireworks.

I suspect you're right, but it would be good to be in a position to have the choice.

We're batting, not enforcing the follow-on.

We've got a lead of 239. How many do we want before declaring? 200?

and they have done..... 239 is good.

its a factor of time and risk. the conditions and bowling (and bit of luck) suggests you want to bat unitl about 5pm today MAX. probably only tea.

450 for me would be excellent so yes 200 more would be good.

Get after them in other words. Ballance aint that but buttler is... bell can be... but first see of skin on new ball for 20 overs.

lead as i speak is 272 so it'll take some effort by indai to not lose and i can't see them winning it thats for sure. 70% draw 30% engalnd chance.

As it stands, I reckon an England win is probably more likely <ok>

Another awful decision apparently. Do the umpires just seem worse when there's no DRS, or are they actually worse?

Respect to Kallis. A ****ing legend <ok>

No respect to the ****ing umpire for another outrageous decision. Ballance nowhere near the ball.

i feel these umpires are particularly bad as frankly i cannot recall a test pre drs in recent memory where there have been so many bad calls on nicks that were actually pads etc. there must be what 6 wickets in this game that are dodgy?

97/2 with bell in.... half way to declaration time.

Bell's gone for 23. 106-3. Shame, he seemed to be doing well until then. Think England are feeling the pressure of getting quick runs. Still, the lead's now 345.
