Rumour is that Hollowhead has relatives in the FA International Clearance office. That is why Juan Carlos Paredes still has no clearance.
http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/wa...te-move-for-former-premier-league-defender/?# Personally I'm waiting with bated breath for the club to deny this one...
If I correctly remember he did not do well with us or was that the other Fulham footballer we had at the same time.
If Briggs had made one particular tackle, we would not have had this to remember... http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=kJYtDPcd-fU
Get the feeling we've just been linked to Briggs because we've had him before and we need some cover for Pudli. Not sure he'd want to just sit around hoping to fill in - at this stage in his career Briggs ought to be looking for regular football if he wants it.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11374888.Redknapp_unsure_if_R_s_will_pursue_Deeney_move/ It wouldn't be the same if he stopped passing comments.
How one longs for the old days where managers either used to say "as far as i'm concerned he plays for club x and until we are told differently we will look elsewhere" or just went out and got the player with no fanfare until the deal had actually been done. From a purely viewing perspective, Sky has done some very good things for the way the game is broadcast and covered in this country. I can't say I think the blanket coverage of the transfer window, with the associated story creation, is one of them..
Dan, Sky takes some of it's info from Twitter - so who feeds who - does social media feed Sky or is it the other way round?
Not sure that Everton will want Deeney now. Everton are close to signing Belgian World Cup striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea for a club-record £23.7m.
Are we still looking to add to mid-field? http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/watford-acquire-munari-the-details/
At 31 would he just be another member of the squad than a starter? I'd rather keep our loans open incase we need more during the season.
When does the transfer window shut? It should be before the season starts, but I have a feeling it isn't.
It's usually August 31st, but with that being a Sunday, I guess it'll be September 1st instead. It either closes at 11pm or midnight - that seems to change from window to window. I wonder what going back to the old system of transfers throughout the season until about mid-March would do to transfer fees?
Battocchio does keep getting linked with a move away doesn't he - somebody not rate him as highly as we might think? http://www.tuttoudinese.it/watford/battocchio-torna-in-italia-in-serie-b-25589
This has been rumbling around for several days now. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014...wonderkid-heading-to-watf/&utm_source=Twitter
