If he had moved out and the club had basically encouraged that by suggesting his deal was complete.....well.....hmm....you can understand the anger.

He may have agreed personal terms with Spurs but Krueger says no deal agreed between clubs. Sorry Morgan, but that's your own fault for being presumptuous.

Uh, yeah. If that's the case and all we get from him is an angry tweet, he's a saint (and still, hopefully, a Saint).

What a ridiculous situation. Clearly the club never accepted an offer for Schneiderlin, so why on earth would he move his stuff out of his home? I also find it hard to believe we'd have told him he could leave, no club would devalue one of their assets by telling them that.

I'd normally completely agree Olly, but I still have a lot if questions regarding club behaviour and competence that make me wonder sometimes even with something like that.

Think I am missing something here. I thought a club had to have permission from the other one to talk to the player. So one of two things have happpened. Spurs have made an illegal approach and agreed terms with Morgan or Saints have allowed them to speak to him and then said no. If Morgan was never going to be sold why would they allow discussions?

If it's the latter then I can understand his reaction, the former? Then lets take Spurs on for illegally tapping up.

Ok last comment on this for now (I'm actually supposed to be working believe it or not). Jez Wilson from the Tellygraph phrased it quite well and I think it sums up what I think.

Anyway, final judgment on #saintsfc strategy can only be made at end Aug. And no-one can expect owner to spend money indefinitely on a club

In isolation, each #saintsfc sale actually makes some sense - it's doing them all in one window that feels like a recipe for relegation

Could hardly blame Katarina liebherr if she wanted to recoup some of investment but #Saintsfc adamant players not sold for financial reasons

Maybe a bit knee jerk in earlier analysis. Core of a mid table squad still potentially there but remaining month of window will be v telling

I couldn't love Wanyama and Gaston any more right now if I tried.

Important players for us this season. Both have the ability to be top players. Really hope Wanyama continues the form he was showing, and Gaston steps it up that extra level. And yes, of course them not kicking up a fuss puts them near the very top of my 'players that I still have respect for' list.
