He won't get much support within the team...he is effectively saying that they are playing for a team unworthy of him. Sympathy will soon disappear.

True but as he wants to leave I doubt he really cares.

I suspect Spurs will be happy to wait for Rodriguez. See how his recovery goes, let him work off the rust and perhaps regain form with Saints then move in January.

I always think it's a bit off posting congratulations when someone leaves a club. Wish them luck..okay, but congratulations insults the team they leave. Why don't people talk to others privately...why do everything in public?

Because most of the time no one pulls them up for being a prat.

One of the things that stood out to me in Ralph's interview with Adam Blackmore, when Adam said some of the players who left didn't like how Les Reed talked to them, Ralph said something like "Les is totally honest with everyone and tells it like it is, if people want to be told fairy tales go somewhere else".

They're not used to having to think about what they do as most of the time there are no consequences to their actions as long as they perform on the pitch.

Some talk that Morgan had moved out of his apartment yesterday in anticipation of his move, only for club to pull the deal at the 11th hour.

Maybe someone will see him getting his head down on a bench later?

Dig at Cortese and what he said to Poch and the players I guess

Used to live in the same complex as me, don't know if he still lives there now.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned which I think is worth mentioning. Krueger said something along the lines of "when we knew the players wanted to leave we got the best deals for them, if we hadn't they wouldn't have gone".

Now Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy is up there as one of the tightest in football (ignoring the anomaly of the Bale money), could be that they don't want to pay what we want for the players so we said no?

I agree with this guy over on SaintsWeb...

Tbf, with a multi-billionnaire owner, I was always under the impression that we could say eff-off to practically every other club anyway.

I mean, the truth is, is that Katharina Liebherr could do what Roman Abramovich has done and although it might bite into her fortune percentage wise a bit more, it would still be easy-peasy stuff.

But certainly with £90M odd in the coffers, Saints can certainly do it, even without her putting her hand in her pocket.
