if we can say NO to Morgan and Jay when another club comes a knocking, why couldn't we have said no to Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool?

They are in the Champions League. They offer players £100k a week. It's not a hard concept to grasp. Spurs are rich, but are still down the pecking order wages wise compared to the clubs you mentioned.

Never thought he'd make me happy. Jay and Morgan not for sale is a stated fact....he must have been given that information. Feel sorry for Morgan on one level...he was one I could understand moving on at this stage, but too late back from the WC and missed the ark as it left. Or perhaps he's a good lad :)

Am sure he'll be given captain.

It sounds like we've told Jrod and Schneiderlin they're staying, regardless of their wishes. Finally we've learnt to say NO!!!

Obviously set an acceptable price and it was met, but now got to the point where money isn't important but players are.

Liverpool said that our financial director was impossible...glad to hear that...touch of the ol' Cortese magic.

I quite understand the offer of higher wages, and I am sure that spurs would offer higher wages than we pay. BUT, if the players are under contract and we don't need the money to survive the Board could just say no! Just as Liverpool said to Suarez last season. that's also not a hard concept to grasp.

Didn't see the SSN interview yet....however it seems the talksport one is as if he's reading off DTLW's script from earlier!

Very good at giving the answer HE wants to give to any question.

You have to feel for Morgan, coming back late from the WC he has now missed the gravy train as we seemed to have put up the shutters.

Don't think a player needs to be back on SFC territory to be sold. If he wanted to be part of the gravy train, his agent would have done the work. Agents dont take holidays.
