DTLW thanks for the summary. At the minute we'll take anything that seems like good news. Without a doubt this is a watershed moment for Kruger et al. The statement on Morgan and Jay has now nailed themselves to the mast. If the desertions are now over, and we have some intelligent signings, this becomes a lot healthier. If not....

On the other hand, he did say they sold everyone who wanted to go, for a 'premium price'. What if Tottenham decides to pay the 'premium price' for Rodriguez and Schneiderlin (presumably they'll want to leave), will we then decline to sell them? I don't think so.

There is a bit of contradiction there. He said it was the right idea to sell those who wanted out (an attitude I'm all for), but then said Jay and Morgan aren't for sale, which completely goes against that philosophy. If they request a transfer, which statement will he go against?

You have to feel for Morgan, coming back late from the WC he has now missed the gravy train as we seemed to have put up the shutters.

if we can say NO to Morgan and Jay when another club comes a knocking, why couldn't we have said no to Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool?
