http://www.bbc.co.uk/radiohumberside/programmes/schedules/2014/07/31

Scheduled on RH at 19:00. at least...better than nowt...but it doesn't jive with 18:00 as listed at k.o. time on BBC Football fixture list.
Time difference error or delayed on RH due to "technology" ?

EDIT: just heard on RH it starts broadcasting @ 18:00, so schedule revised.

Interestingly, it's not just us complaining about lack of tv coverage. In Italy, where every single Serie A game of ALL clubs is televised, they are not showing Brommapojkarna vs Torino. The daily sports papers are kicking up a stink about it.

Not good for the Europa League really.

It's really baffling. I've never paid much attention to these games in the past admittedly, but you'd think at least one TV station would show it.

Precisely, especially when there's no other meaningful football on. In the middle of the season I could almost understand it, especuially if they were showing something else. But people are crying out to watch any competitive football right now.

Which just goes to show that Liverpool v man city friendly is deemed a better draw than competitive European football. It probably would draw a bigger audience.

I don't watch those pointless friendlies.
If City hadn't been playing there's a good chance I would have watched a Europa League match on TV at this time of year.

The lack of TV coverage is probably why UEFA handed new contracts for the Champions League to networks who were bidding for the Europa League too. One of the reasons why BT will be showing the CL after this coming season (Sky didn't bid for the EL, only the CL).

It's a seven o'clock kick-off in Slovakia, which is six o'clock here.

Could've sworn all Swanseas qualifying matches were televised last season.

They didn’t.

They started at the same round as us.

They played Malmo who are a much bigger club than Trencin, which may have been a reason it was televised.

We have had this before. It will be streamed on the internet for those not going.

Dont think any uk based channel is showing the first leg at least.
