Everywhere I've been reading says so and his twitter picture is still an SAFC strip. I can't see that we've given up. Would be delighted if we had both competing. Can PVA play in a more advanced role?

Well, this is something I'd thought about, maybe he could, but then signing Rodriguez renders that a bit void.

He could be an option in both positions.

Can't see Alonso as cover mate. He'd be starting to begin with and they'd rotate I expect.

Him, Alonso, Rodriguez, Vergini, a CB and a CM. Business done for me. Borini would be nice but starting to look like a luxury.
