  1. Premier League

  2. Champions League

  3. FA Cup

Didn't say it was a bad tactic just pointed out would have been embarrassing if you didn't win emphatically. I actually think its a good tactic by VDG to get the fans on his side and have a look at the team. Saying that I think we all know where the holes in United's squad are!! I can only hope you keep playing the first team in preseason and either win all the games 7-0 and decide you don't need anymore signings or tire out the players before the season starts.

What's the bet on Southampton now beating us in the first fixture of the season?

    Their fans will be raving!

    Hi mate!

Erm bit of work, running quite a few 10k's, gyming, playing football - basically most evening I've been out, plus needed a break from here.

Thought now was a good time to come back.

    How you mate?

    I'm not sure tbh.

I'm happy with Lambert which is low risk and I rate Lallana = happy.

If we get Lovren I will be happy. He is very good and with Sakho could form a very good partnership.

The others I don't really know a lot about so I will just have to trust Rodgers.

We have spent a lot of money though. We are paying probably 30% more than a fair valuation, because of Suarez amount naturally.

Think we still need a proven quality striker and a right back.

    What's your thoughts mate?

i agree with you remy is not a top striker so i cant see him forcing a 4-2-1-2 formation. 4-3-3 with nobody in the box and no pens next year... we'll get accused of suarez faking them all of course but the reality is if nobody is in the box you can't get a pen.

Happy with all of them to be honest, but like you I haven't seen Markovic or Can enough to really form an opinion of them.

However I do feel we overpaid by about £5m for both Lallana and Lovren, but that's to be expected when you buy from a PL club that don't need to sell their best players.

Forgot about Remy (if we get him that is). I think he'll be a good signing for us, especially for £8.5m, he done well for Newcastle last year getting something like 14 goals in 26 apps.

Would like a marquee signing, we'll have to wait and see.

mourinho just sticknig the boot in... quite bitter with utd.

one thinks he never wanted to return to cheslea really.... i can see a big clash with ambramovich over style if RA is not caught in the next russian sanctions which are getting increasingly inevitable.

Basically agree with all of that.

Remy would be a good little deal.

We do need a few quality players though - I compare our squads with City, Chelsea and Arsenal and they are all better, United not a lot of difference and I expect Spurs to improve.

I expect more signing from us.

I initially thought the same thing; but on further reflection, it perhaps is quite sensible. Drogba plays much the same way as Costa will be deployed, so after 60-70 minutes Chelsea can introduce Drogba. Also it will allow Chelsea to play the same system throughout the season, so in certain games, like Leicester, Hull, Aston Villa, for example at home, it will allow them to rest Costa, without impacting on Chelsea's overall play. I hate to say all that though, I cannot ****ing stand MoaningMo!

Its all about giving the club a lift, like with us and Fowler.

    A good move by Chelsea.
