They certainly should be winning by that much if they play there full strength first team, the fact that young got 2 speaks for the quality of the opposition, obviously vdg is trying to start his tenure off with a bit more pomp than moyes did.
By contrast we started 1 first team player in our game and it's clear BR is more focused on training and giving the kids a chance to prove them selves. That being said would like to see Lambert bagging a few goals but that may come with a better team.

All about the players adapting to LVG. reason he played a stronger side first half is obvious. I will let you struggle to think of the reason though as its the right thing to do.
Contract that with you guys, 2 games, 2 poor performances ( by all reports ) and 2 defeats. Wont be doing confidence any good but as stated, mish mash of a side so you will probably get better over the next 3/4 weeks.

LVG has admitted he's assessing his entire squad from scratch before deciding who to buy.
Rodgers knows his senior players and there's no point rushing them into games. His main decision is who gets to stay as backup and who goes out on loan.
Plus it's 3 preseaon games, we won one, and many individual performances have been good. The group performance is not so relevant when routinely making 10 subs.
