Not happy about this, you've got yourselves a good 'un. Not in Janmaarts class, but good nevertheless.
Of course I talk positive about the club but I haven't for about a year now. next season will be the same old same old. thats my opinion & you lot have yours.
Being 'not quite good enough' for Chelsea is a great signing for us tbh.
He's experienced and has already played in the Premier League ..... we had Colback, Bardsley & Dossena in his position last season

From what I've seen of him, he's undoubtedly a good signing. What was the fee?
Fee's not reported yet, they might keep it for the 'grinning man with SAFC scarf' moment.
He's young enough to improve and that development can't have been helped by playing for 6 different clubs while at Chelsea.
Alonso didn't exactly pull up any trees at Bolton etc.
Alonso had a great debut, then was pap for a few weeks to be fair! Ended alright!
I'm hoping it might make a bit of a difference in us signing van Dijk from Celtic.
Now that would make our back line a lot quicker and able to push the play up the field.
Defending on the half way line is way better than being camped around your own box for half the match.
