Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • No

More Yes voters than no voters.

Not neecssarily - could just be that those who want the change are more likely to advertise their support rather than those who want to keep things as they are. But, and this has to be the biggest worry for better together, Independence supporters will definitely go out and vote - people who are in the no camp might not.

some unwashed jakey **** put a yes paper through my letterbox a couple of weeks ago. I tore in half and gave him it back when he came back down the stairs <laugh>

Bad practice. I always tell people to start at the top and work their way down. That way they don't meet right-wing, psycho bigots who get angry at bits of paper.

<laugh> I can't wait for the "should we stay in the EU?" referendum - you can just imagine what kind of people will be actively campaigning to pull us out................

Hopefully we'll be independent by then and wont have to worry about it. UKip are goin' to have a ****ing ball!

It appears to be a consensus amongst Dan's sort that anyone who questions the EU must be a white supremacist neo-nazi.

ST probably read this at some point in the last couple of years:

Not at all - I (just me, you couldn't define "my sort" if you tried) fully accept there are some people who want to leave because they see the EU as meddlesome, destructive to our sovereignty and an expensive bureaucratic monster that we could do without. However there is no doubt that there are also many people who think that pulling out will enable us to kick out all the Eastern Europeans and stop any more coming in - and they will be knocking on your door to tell you so.
