Decent price for a game of pool. My local is 50p as well, but they have free pool on certain days, and I usually go in then.
My local also has issues with the dartboard's oche being right where the balls come out of the pool table. So we have the same issues with pool and darts at the same time. Not seen any issues though. Most people let you throw / pot before they throw / pot. However that does make games of both last longer.
Same but I tend to avoid it, I don't like people and being free makes it really busy.

I agree. Not happy when it's busy, myself. I interferes with my pool/darts.
I played snooker last night. First time in maybe a year. I was terrible! Couldn't keep my head down whilst cueing and missed nearly everything. Maybe had a break of 16, once in 6 frames!

It's green with some ale stains on it. It's also free a couple of nights a week.

My Grandad had a pool table in his spare bedroom so I've been playing pool since I was two years old. I used to drag and crate (like a milk crate but the one for pop bottles) around the table so that I could reach. My Grandad won local snooker tournaments etc so I had a decent teaching. I play snooker on a almost weekly basis atm. Even went and bought a new cue last weekend too; had cues when I was younger and still have one but its ruined.
