Hi guys,
I would like to clarify the situation and Mick can step in if he chooses to correct me otherwise.
The site has already been banned from google several times, this i believe affects the advertising revenue from guests. This site is free to you but not to the owner, i can't remember the exact figure now but we are not talking pennies to run this site by any stretch of the imagination.
So why password protected and nsfw tags and why the changes, that might not have applied in the past;
I believe the bots cannot see password protected stuff ie porn. NSFW tags hide the lesser stuff, after all that's why they are there and why the Newcastle password protected area was created, to keep google off our backs.
Why the changes, internet sites i'm sure you are aware are becoming more and more monitored, hence google i guess are becoming more and more tougher on stuff that does not conform to their requirements.
That's all i know guys, every time the site goes down Mick has to go in search for all the stuff that might be causing the block, he then loses the revenue that keeps this site going, unless he pays out of his own pocket. Normally we go in search of open pics like this, the site stays down until we satisfy google, hence i then get hit on twitter asking how long before the site is back up.
Sadly you don't see the problems, we do having to try and resolve, all because people can't understand to use NSFW or the password areas. Sometimes images can contain malware, they do not affect our members but is the problem of the original source, however, google still just see's the malware link i believe, so again although harmless we get hit until removed.
I only had to remove a malware image recently, because the poster just for fun like you are having here, was not aware it came from a malware source, so everytime i tried to get on the site it blocked me, then had to take a risk myself to get back in, to delete the pic, to clear the way on the site for everyone else to get back in!
I know it seems fun to you guys but costs us hours of work, removing the open pics.
thanks
