Saw that earlier. Checked him out on Wiki. 2 facts, he played alongside Hudson at Palace and he's 30. Combined age of 62 if they team up again.

I wonder if Southampton might want Caulker with Fonte coming our way. Especially if Lovren leaves also. That would be a better move for Caulker too.

If we get Fonte to replace Caulker we'd be strengthening the starting 11 imo. 30 isn't really an issue for a CB.

Saints will need better than Caulker if they're losing their 2 first choice cb's from last season.

Latest from WOL............

"Chung-Yong Lee latest...

The Bolton Wanderers wing that it appears Cardiff City are chasing has been celebrating his weeding this week."

He must have married Eartha Kitt......................<laugh><laugh>

Agreed. I hope for his sake that QPR manage to stay up. If not he could get a "Jonah" reputation.

While I can see the attraction of playing alongside Ferdinand (as long as he stays fit) I thought Palace and Southampton were better options in terms of Prem survival and if bigger clubs were interested they might have given him better career options.

Nothing to do with the money on offer thought? <whistle>

Damn quiet on here today. No rumours anyone? Campbell possibly pricing himself out of the market? Ulloa gone from Brighton to Leicester who are also taling to watford about Deeney. Might Palace come back for him now Caulker gone to QPR?

What about Medel? I thought the Inter Milan guys were flying in to muscle their way to the deal they want. VT being as inscrutable as ever?

What about a replacement for Caulker? WoL put up a list of about 12 yesterday, mostly non-starters - it included Rio Ferdinand ffs!!! It is still either Keane on a season loan of Hangeland for me.

Anything else chaps?

Or do we want to talk about the Commonwealth Games? <yikes>

Bluey - I hope the Norwegian connection with Ole isn't strong enough to bring Hangeland here - I don't rate him at all after last season. Hadn't paid much attention to him in the past to be honest, but during our "season in the sunshine" (<doh>) last year, I watched him quite a lot and not just against us.

For such a tall guy, he was hopeless in the air being out jumped by our smaller guys like Campbell. I watched him in vids of other Fulham games. He wasn't commanding at all and doesn't seem to be the same guy as he was alleged to be previously and he's getting on a bit now - we could do a lot better.

Don't like loans on principle generally - they just seem to be a temporary show case for most like Zaha last season, but I'd take Keane on one right now to get it sorted.

Us accepting bids for Campbell from Palace and Leicester has just made the BBC transfer tracker. I thought that happened about a month ago?

You mention Zaha Sparks, I noticed on Sky Sports news he reckons he's returned from his loan a better player <laugh> I mean....... <laugh>

Not sure I agree with grabbing Keane to 'get it sorted'. If he's the right player then fine, if not lets use the Caulker and probably Medel money to sort that position properly, unless we're trusting Hudson's fitness. We can use the Campbell transfer fee to pay for the bus ride home from any negotiations.......
