Morning all, the sun is shining again after yesterday when it didn't stop raining. Public holiday here today, so it stops the tills ringing after 12 noon in the large supermarkets but many small shops don't open on a Monday anyway.

Very good article by Frank Smith in the WO. Well worth a read while you dip your toast in the boiled egg.

Very good article..... redressing a balance of opinion.. interestingly enough I have not heard the views he talked about expressed on this forum.

But yes we have owners with commitment and vision who are investing for our future

The future is bright.....

I see that Jon Marks will be doing commentary on the Shrewsbury Town game next Saturday for those with Hornet player.

Evening all. On Thursday, Wednesday your time, I go into hospital for some surgery on my ankle. It could turn out to be a rebuild but they won't know till they get a proper look at it. So if I'm away from here for a while, you know why.

Good luck with that - how did you hurt it - sports injury? Don't forget to post your WPL predictions before you go on the furute post thread - and if you need me to go out a few more weeks just let me know. Hope it all goes well

I don't think I'll be gone that long, Leo, but thanks anyway. I hurt it driving off a cliff seven years ago. It was mis-diagnosed and now quite a few cysts have developed in the bone, apart from the broken bits that need tidying up.

All the best with that NZ - surely, though, they allow laptops in Kiwi hospitals?

Is driving off a cliff some form of sport in NZ - you mention it quite casually :)

It is preparation for the earthquakes and finding that the road has disappeared.

I remember that when the club said they would have more accommodation for wheelchair users with the extra two bays on the new stand, GG was delighted. Maybe some of the larger clubs should take notice. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-28307016

Finished for today as the heat became over powering. 26°C in the shade which I stayed in as much as possible, but 36°C out in the open. It is supposed to be getting warmer as the week goes by. :emoticon-0141-whew:
