Yes - it shook the office. Not sure if it hasn't had some sort of effect on me, as this afternoon I felt some of the things I do after waking up from a mild fit such as low energy in my legs and bitten the edge of my tongue.
Shaken not stirred! Enjoy the weekend all. Heavens are open here and have been for 2 weeks, much needed.
Just watching banned on BBC 4 about songs the BBC refused to air. For a man not exactly blessed with good looks Serge Gainsbourg couldn't half pull the ladies!
Good morning from a brightening bandit country. Hoping for a dry day as it's #1 sons annual birthday bash. As he is 30 we have decided to go for an adult/child party theme. So it's sandwiches, jelly & ice-cream and a bouncy castle, alongside Vodka and Tequila jellies and a lot of drinking games - beer pong anyone?

Good morning all from a damp but warm Weston-super-Mare. Should be dry all day from now on! Have a good day!
Morning all from a wet Jersey due to last night's rain. Had a fantastic day yesterday at the wedding of 2 of my colleagues - the groom was my boss before he transferred to a different department. After the wedding breakfast, there were games for the adults on the lawn of the venue (the children had a separate party as the 2 children of the happy couple have their birthdays this month). There was a nasty incident in the welly throwing when one of the grooms' brothers throw went backwards and to the right, knocking off the glasses of his other brother, causing a graze on the side of his head. It could've been worse, because if the bride hadn't seen it coming and ducked, it would've hit her in the face.
Morning all, the sun is shining again after yesterday when it didn't stop raining. Public holiday here today, so it stops the tills ringing after 12 noon in the large supermarkets but many small shops don't open on a Monday anyway. Very good article by Frank Smith in the WO. Well worth a read while you dip your toast in the boiled egg. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...zzos_not_spending_money_is_ridiculous/?ref=la
