    It's unsustainable at current UK levels too, but increasing spending will make it even more unsustainable and chances are, it'll cost us more to borrow as an independent state which makes it all even more unsustainable.

    If I could be arsed and thought it worth my while I would go looking for the Financial Times article which said the long-term economic future of an independent Scotland would be good.

    95% of articles appearing in the press are political. It's not what's in them you need to question - it's who's writing them.

    If Scotchland is shortly to become an economic burden why do they want to keep us in the UK?

    Oh, I see, drain us of all the oil and then get rid of us.
