Hugo! Hugo! Hugo!

I may hear, but I will not take to heart, a word of pessimism until the moment the first ball is kicked.

Of course he may go next year, but I tend to think not. He'll be 28, for one thing, which is importantly different than 24 or 25. His stock would probably be higher now than later, coming off a high profile, successful gig as France captain. And some decent percentage of successful players prefer to stick to one club instead of whoring themselves about. It would be plausible that after Modric and Bale we get one.

He also asked for a transfer before the end of last season.

Was that omitted from the draft as well as the final script handed to Lloris while also bring prodded in the back and reminded about his wage increase as he declared his love for the club and the special relationship he has with the fans.

He also asked for a transfer before the end of last season.

Is that definitely true?

Doesn't surprise me at all, but shows that Poch must have made quite an impression, especially considering Lloris has spent most of the summer with France.

Wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the only one? Not sure if you can tell Spurcat but I'd take a good guess and say Vertonghen, Capoue, Sandro and perhaps one or two others done the same or at least considered it. The body language of some were clearly players who didn't want to be playing for a certain individual who's no longer with us.
