Teachers at my kids school are on strike today (some of them).. my daughter's year is in and my son, despite his year being affected by the strike, has a hockey tournament and has to go in! I was preparing to be bombarded today, but have escaped.

I believe that's theft, not hoarding :)

I don't see why it can't be both. I used to like getting petty revenge on employers I didn't like (you know, before university when references didn't matter), and stealing little things was one way. One time I was working at a bar in a hotel on a zero-hour deal and I realised they were properly taking advantage of my youth and naivety, so I gave a customer a free pint and then walked straight out the door mid-shift.

I've worked for some proper ****ers.

That I like.

It can be both too. I have to stop my kids at Ikea. They 'collect' those pencils.

I always take shampoos, coffee and tea sachets from hotels.

hoarder. I am terrible like that.

I am slowly, slowly trying to change my ways. As I have more time now, I am taking baby steps to sort things out. Until recently you would be taking your life into your hands opening any of my cupboards...I made a decision to put something into every charity bag that came through my door and to throw out something in every rubbish bag...such as ten-year-old hotel shampoo, keys that fit nothing I have owned for decades, or instruction manuals for long gone electronics (which I never read anyway). It's slow, but getting better.

The widespread familiarity with Love Actually on this football forum is great. We're all a bunch of Laprases.

On a separate note, is this site playing up a bit? Or is it a problem on my end?

Me and Dan were planning on a Colin-style sex tour of America with our accents. You are more than welcome to join us, we could make it a Not606 holiday :D

Keys! I have lots of keys! Draws full of mini shampoo bottles from hotels

Damn the UK has loads of girl singers that look like Lorde.

So I've been in the ultrasound department this morning having a strange lump poked and prodded - lot less fun than it sounds, particularly as it wasn't *that* strange lump. Turns out it's 90% just a lipoma (random fatty lump thing) so I'm afraid it seems likely you'll have to put up with me a little longer.

Tell you what though, although it's obviously not exclusively an over-40's club, the whole "well these things start to happen to us now" club really isn't all it's cracked up to be!

(I started a sentence with 'So' - that's going to upset Fran, isn't it?)

I'm the only member of the accounts team actually at his desk right now, and I'm getting all sorts of confusing questions about people chasing money.

I DUNNO!
