Still a decent signing though for a position we need. If we get Sanchez and Bender too then it will be an incredible boost to the squad as those two are world class additions.
This really could be a landmark transfer window. As I type watching the 2002 world cup film, t-shirt (inamoto) scored a good goal.
We've been in this position before, let's hope some of these transfers actually materialise this time
So do I. Too many of my mates are getting overly excited by this Sanchez transfer yet it's only based on rumours. They were even saying it's a done deal, I was thinking FFS!
I'd forgotten about Inamoto,do you remember the hundreds of Japanese journalists turning up just to watch him train ?
He did indeed. Seems to me like journos are enjoying teasing a bunch of already over-stimulated Gooners!
Both Debuchy and Sanchez deals have reached BBC - for me the most reliable place bar arsenals website for transfer news. So they are very much in the works. If they come through then that would be awesome. The rumour side is now on Remy, Bender, Khedira etc. But if we get those players (AS and MD) in the next week or so that really does setup a potentially insane window, what with 1 1/2 months left.
That's the Arsenal mantra of every transfer window... which is generally always closely followed by the signing of an unknown french ligue 2 teenage goalkeeper, a Guatemalan under-14 attacking midfielder and a contract extension for Abou Diaby
Seeing as Debuchy was a dead cert i wonder what is going to happen of aurier surely he cant continue to play for his club now after the comments his agent has been making. I think Debuchy is the perfect full back for us a slight improvement of sagna even and also signing debuchy wouldn't completely ruin jenkinson's career who i think has a lot of potential
Ornstein has spoken :- AFC close to signing Debuchy,Sanchez talks ongoing but Juventus are interested. Liverpool unlikely to persue Sanchez as Suarez deal set to be straight cash.
I'm curious as to who our Plan B option is. Unless Wenger doesn't have a back-up plan, which wouldn't surprise me in the least. And in other news, rumours that Ezequiel Lavezzi could be available for around £15 million He's not in Sanchez's league, but he's a damn good player in his own right.
I hope its Reus ( i know super hopeful) actually if it is Reus - I say bugger the Sanchez deal up all you want.
