Sorry to say that his behaviour during the penalty shootout let the Dutch down. Shame because I didn't mind the Netherlands before that

Disagree. Do what you need to do to win. All well and good being Mr Nice Guy until you lose.

    Really?

I think that's a massive part of what a keeper should be doing in a shoot-out.

Genuinely think it's fair enough at this stage. He wasn't cheating or faking anything, the penalty takers looked nervous enough anyway to be honest - it's like sledging in cricket, its part of the game and doesn't effect the big game players anyway.

Was a massive **** to begin with

But after that even more so, very rare to see any form of sportsmanship nowadays

As long as he stays on his line he can do what he likes, flashing might be a bit much but Grobellar knees and jumping and knocking the bar is fair game.

Ruiz should have never took one, he was knackered and it showed in his pen, the last one was a good save (even though it kills me to say that).

Wonder why he wasn't booked for unsportsmanlike conduct - just a thought like

Penaltys boil down to mental strengh. If Krul done that to me itd have fired me up more to smash it in the back of the net then id have followed through and delivered a flying headbutt to the lanky streak of Dutch/, geordie tw@t!

Just watched Fabio's penalty against him
Still think the best bit was him laughing before he took it
    Apart from actually scoring, obviously

I had much more issue with the Brazil keeper in the match against Chile as he kept coming a few feet off his line well before the striker got near the ball and Howard Webb just let him (wasn't even subtle). He played within the rules and was pretty mild in comparison with the likes of Bartez (who did used to sometimes take the piss when someone was waiting to take a penalty - I recall one time telling Muzzy Izzet to wait whilst Bartez took his boots off to bang the mud off on the post).

Aye it was the best part for me as well - then the ref booked him for celebrating with the SAFC fans up in the clouds
