Helps I think that they took so long to get anywhere. They were around for about ten years before they managed to get enough recognition money to put their first album together, so I think it humbled them. Heard and interview where Guy said that he had given up on the band and was in a pawn shop haggling over the price for selling the bands last remaining amp, when he heard a song of theirs "Powder Blue" come on the radio (John Peel). He changed his mind and didn't sell the amp thinking that maybe this would give them the break they needed, and it did. It took off from there.

Funnily enough I first got into them after hearing the same song played by John Peel. Probably wasn't the same playing because i know he played it alot but ...!
 
anyway guys, that's it for me for this eve! droppin a bit and me eyes are hurting so i'm just gonna chill out and watch some mindless crap on tv before i drop off to sleep no doubt <ok>

Best not to risk the ankle going away on holiday, if you need treatment when you're away it could cost an arm and a leg. ( And an ankle, come to that. ) Far better to let me take your place and you can stay at home with your feet up and rest your ankle.

I'm not missing out on a holiday! Just have to take crutches. I need to relax before the season starts again. Pre-season soon, it will be time to get the liver into shape!

How you getting to Darlo AB? I'm on the train, set price of just under a tenner. Got offered to go on a bus, for £12.50!!! To Darlington!!! Told him where to go. The ground is quite a walk from the station though so if I'm still struggling it will have to be taxi.

I'm working in Kaz on the rigs. There is a pic in my album from last winter. I live in Tynedale.I do 28 days on and 28 off.

Oh! and we havn't invaded Kaz apart from the Oil workers. Loads of them.

He neg repped my post which said that the forum is full of ****e during the day but it becomes pretty chilled out at night, so he must be one of the ****ing spanners who clogs up the forum with ****e, and thus got offended.

Pffft, its true though. This place is alot better at night. Cos, during the day....what is there to talk about? And, if anyone dares post an off topic article, they get slated. All of these newbies seem like they're running the place.

Oddly enough my last couple of reps have all been NEG! I think someone is behind this.. all he leaves is... this -'' ....'' or ..''

Someone neg repped one of my pictures in the drawing members thread because it was '****' (which it was). Thought that was a bit gay seeing as that thread was all a bit of fun
