I realise some have burnt shirts, the same everywhere with all fans. That picture though you couldnt say 100%. You cant even if they are wearing another LFC shirt

Think you better re-read the thread, that was not my argument at all. My argument was the likelihood of that happening. I just find it funny how you jumped to the conclusion that it could be a rival fan buying/nicking a mate's shirt before a Liverpool fan doing it.

I can believe it would happen but this does seem to be the stock response that comes out anytime something like this happens re: Liverpool. When 'Liverpool fans' were abusing ex-pros on twitter some said it was Everton fans with false accounts, John Smith blaming Chelsea fans for Hysel etc.

Liverpool fans do seem to be one of the worst for over reacting to things (RAWK being infamous) but I guess it could be argued it stems from having a large and passionate fan base.

Maybe he did hear other accents as well though, he's not necessarily lying. We'll just stop there as weren't there so will never know if he did or didnt hear other accents
