    I'd be happy with Vlaar.

Vlaar's good in a scheme that doesn't require him to do too much moving.

I'd be satisfied with Vlaar. I was keen on him when Villa bought him.

Any ideas on which position this maybe 20ish target would be occupying (please say striker)...

He might be ok, but I wouldn't know whether he was the cart or the horse.

Stephane Mbia a free agent. Versatile player, and did well at Sevilla.

Anyone who will cost over £15m is unlikely to fit into our wage structure.

What I would like to see us do is be a little more aggressive with up and coming young players and perhaps spending a little to get them in. As an example that Origi (excuse spelling) who plays for Belgium/Lille. All reports link him with Liverpool who look set to loan him back for a season.
I know Lille are no mugs, but we could very easily match the scousers offer and provide the exposure of the premier league and 1st team football.

Realistically they are both quite likely to command a similar transfer and wages to each other. Bony I would suggest many well be more in demand at the moment. Worth a punt but I would think he is going to be aiming for higer wages than our top earners. Who knows, would love Bony to happen.....if we have a spare £20m + after rebuilding.

I've decided we are going to sign all of the following players: Fraser Forster, Virgil Van Dijk, Terence Kongolo, Dusan Tadic, Graziano Pelle.

He is young and going through a bad patch. Having seen him on interviews he is an impressive young man and when he knuckles down will become an excellent striker. It's not unusual for his form to be inconsistent.
I think whoever takes a punt on him will be rewarded

He can't control the ball at most times. He isn't the player we need.

Doesn't seem to fit in with our system though. He was ineffective when Everton played the ball up to him at St Mary's and also for Belgium. Never understood why Benteke was an automatic pick till I saw the Algeria game. Devastating when running at people on the counter though. Like at West Brom.

20m striker + Joe's list and I'd be happy. Another attacker wouldn't hurt. If Targett's given the chance to play LB then I don't think we'll need one, especially with Clyne who can play there.
