One of our most under-rated players Gilberto. I was gutted when he went and it was, imo, a glaring Wenger error.

Regarding Sanchez this feels so Higuain-ey to me. We'll end up with Remy and fook all else, you mark my very miserable words!

Sounds very much like it, i'm surprised people have such short memories. It's more down to what we want than it actually happening, very much like all the rumours that are being linked to us. Only clear rumour I think is the Aurier and Debuchy ones. We are in need of a RB with Sagna's departure and they fit the Wenger "nice price" category.
 
The Sanchez stories have all come from the usual unreliable places, probably turn out we never even made enquiries

I don't know, all signs very much point to the fact AW has shown interest and inquired, but beyond that who knows? rumours that you bid 23million euros and offering 130k pw, so can see why you've agreed terms with Sanchez but Barca probably wanting closer to £30m.

But the big question is who else is involved if we are really in for him? We haven't got a good track record of getting the big players eg. Higuain and Mata when others are involved. If Ozil is the way we are going to go, then I would be confident, but basing it on one big transfer is foolhardy. This transfer window will show exactly where our transfer strategy lies.

Not really been on the radar lately as he had a long time out with injury.

Ive always been a big fan.. throughout his career his goals to games ratio has been better than 1 in 2.

Could be a good option.
