Had my lunch and now I quite desperately need a nap. This is when drinking on a weekday comes back to bite you in the arse.

No one is paying attention to me so at least I can just ditch all my work and properly slack off. I am the spitting image of my avatar right now.

I have, quite literally, spent 40 minutes looking for the right tools and materials for a particular job. I am at the end of my tether and I have given up for today. I'm sat here with coffee and a few biscuits. Tomorrow is another day.

Most jobs can be done with an old knife and a bent spoon. Fact!

You're quite the yoof these days, Fran. Begun revisiting that childhood..? :)

Incidentally, you do know the difference between doing a job to a good standard and doing one that'll last until you walk away..?

Maybe you should change your name to Lord Blackbeard?

My friend has a granddaughter like that...who thinks she's an employer's dream and can't see why she can't get a job. My friend finally told her the truth...You're family and I wouldn't give you a job either.

I've worked in a shop and I know that most customers are lovely, but you get about one a day who needs a smack...but you don't and that is what makes you employable.

Olives too. If there's one thing I know about Fran, it's that she loves to get comfy on the sofa with a big plate of fig rolls and olives, and watch Game of Thrones.

No my mobile rang. I stopped to watch a bit of SSN while eating my left over curry goat and h next thing, the phone was ringing and it was 20 minutes later! Working from home has some benefits.

When I die that is the punishment I have lined up for me...as if being a Saints fan wasn't enough! Hey, you don't think we are all dead and in purgatory, do you?

Fig rolls and olives sounds like an odd combo.
