What does him wanting money from his former employers have to do with him playing for us? If he is legally entitled to the money, he's gonna take it isn't he?
Because there isn't a single player playing for us at the minute who hasn't considered money when coming to us. That's the problem with some fans, as soon as a player pulls on the black and amber, the sun shines out their arse. Who's to say that a couple of the lads in our squad aren't money grabbing bastards? I know of at least 2 who kicked off when offered extensions that weren't quite up to their 'standard'.

Curtis is away in the USA on holiday. Why exactly is it "disappointing"? You don't actually know if he's been offered anything yet, and even if he hasn't, so what?
He's deserved a break, away from it all, hes resting and recuperating ready for next season and there's plenty of time for him to have a new deal sorted out.

He didn't mention the club, just that it's disappointing we haven't offered our player of the season and captain a new deal when a) we said we would and b) it was supposed to be happening right after the FA Cup final. Which is as he said, a bit disappointing.

I am sure that Davies will get offered a new deal. The club have bigger worries right now trying to sign new players than offer Davies a new contract. There is lots of time before the season starts to offer contracted players new deals.
