Jesus H Christ. Please please lets hope its not 8 mil. Brady> Snodgrass. I think 3 million would be a push. He might be worth 5 mil if he had 3 years on his contract. But 8 million for a player of his quality, from a championship club, in the last year of his contract? ****ing madness!!

I'm guessing you haven't seen him play.

I've seen him play dozens of times. He has improved considerably over the years as well. But im sorry 8 million is over twice his market value. Especially when I'm confident we have a better player in Brady. Just my opinion like

When he's fit? Always picking up injuries and remind me just how many appearances he has made this season?

In my opinion Brady is way off Snodgrass, I have a feeling Bruce is going to be tempted to play Brady at full back. It sounds like a lot of money but you have to spend that sort of money to remain competitive, he's got bags of quality.

I'll have what you're smoking please.

Are you being serious, several decent players for 8 million?? We are a premier league club playing in Europe ffs not a league 1/championship outfit.

8 million is well worth it, why? because Snodgrass will complement our midfield lovely and certainly our threat going forward. He provides assists and he can also hit them (free kicks/set pieces/open play). He has also proved that he can play at this level.

Perhaps several was not the right word, a couple of decent players then. We got Huddlestone for £5.25M and Davies for £2.25M, that's less than £8M. Paying £8M for a player like Snodgrass with one year left on his contract is ridiculous. If the reported fee is true it will add Norwich to the list of clubs that have pulled our pants down regarding transfers recently.

Spurs and West Brom, we overpaid for Livermore and Long in my opinion. Both brilliant players but we definitely paid more than necessary.

Birmingham got rid of Davies because they needed money and we was the only club willing to meet their evaluation of the player and give him a chance. - Done deal

Spurs had spent millions on a new midfield and Huddlestone wanted out because he wanted to play regular football - we accepted the 5.25m fee. - Done deal

Norwich have been relegated and wanted to hold on to their best player, Snodgrass doesn't want the championship and wants to play in the premier league - Norwich are trying to get the most for their best player - We accept the offer because he is a quality player and other teams around us (Sunderland, Southampton, West Brom etc) want him.

I would rather spend the 8million and have another quality addition to our squad, our squad last season was crying out for a left sided attacking midfielder and now it looks like we have ticked the box.

A LB, striker and another CD (hopefully dawson) and I think our business is done.

You say we overpay but to me that's ridiculous in today's market there worth every penny of what we paid for them , what would you value our current better players at 2 million ?

We have loads of left-footers that can play on the left-wing. Boyd, Brady, Quinn and Aluko are all capable of playing there, we actually need another right-footed winger.

For me, Snodgrass is the difference between playing from the back to our strikers and getting it out wide and providing the strikers (Long and Jelly).

I expect goals next season and plenty of them.

I really don't think we'll be seeing much of Snodgrass on the left wing.

Buying players for 8mill a piece tells me the Allams are going to spend more than 20mill in this window

I said around 8 weeks ago that we'll have 30 million to spend.

8 + 8 = 16 million, + another 4m for Dawson? is 20 million and then there is a few more players to bring in.
