Racism, two assaults, constant cheating and demanding a transfer. At any other club, he would be out on his ear.

But knowing LFC they will fabricate justification to keep him

Im not going to be able to do this post without sounding condescending and patronising as hell to Liverpool, so I apologise in advance.....and here goes.
And this isnt all Liverpool fans, but a large enough portion for me to have noticed it (and not necessarily just on Not606, but everywhere)

The reason for Liverpool fans "Meh" reaction regarding Suarez's actions are twofold:

1) They love the "everyone is cooking up conspiracies against us," attitude and creating an "us vs them" mentality so they can use it as an excuse for their failures i.e they can blame the media, the FA, Rooney, Suarez's dentist etc

2) He is the best player they have by a country mile and their best chance of being successful, so lose him and they are in a worse position. Theres always the argument that they will get lots of cash to reinvest in their squad, but that never really works does it. United were never able to replace Ronaldo, Spurs werent able to replace Bale, and Liverpool themselves spanked all the Torres money on a load of mediocre rubbish (Carroll etc). Losing a player of that talent is always a blow to morale......

A tough one for Liverpool. They need him far more than he needs them. If they didn't get rid (bizarrely they chose to support him) after his proven racism then this 'minor discrepancy' won't worry them too much.

This is one of the few cases where the player is as big as the club because of his potential market value.

If he was a Chelsea player I would want the horrible bas*t8ard as far away from our club as possible but at the same time I'd want to cash in to the highest bidder.

Racism, two assaults, constant cheating and demanding a transfer.

If we analise those comments, that's the standard set of rules for the population of Liverpool , except change demanding a transfer to demanding higher wages for lesser hours. Oh, and quadruple the assaults total.

I watched a couple of interviews given by him post match and I cringed. There was not a hint of remorse or regret in his words. In fact, the detestable coward bordered on making light of it.

For once I give credit to the majority of Liverpool fans who have condemned him without question in the media. They understand (for the most part) that although he is a genius of a footballer he has over stepped the mark yet again.

Suarez was blindly supported through thick and thin through his racism and previous biting incidents only for him to stick two fingers up to all at Liverpool FC. A bad, bad, bas*a*rd in anybody's book. His manager must want to bury his head in the sand.

Less than 2 months ago Brendan Rogers said ''He is a really intelligent man who fits the values of this club, which is all about humility, class and he has all of that''.

Again though, as I've mentioned before, another significant issue is that both against Chelsea and Italy, he got away with it during the game. Chelsea got 1 point instead of 3 and Italy went out of the World Cup. His despicable act (probably to get a reaction and get someone sent off) has changed the result of a game. In both cases, goals came within a couple of minutes while the other team (rightly so) were still pissed off about the incident itself and the fact that it went unpunished.

Add to all that, Prandelli loses his job because Italy went out (may have been coming anyway, but Suarez's unpunished action had a direct impact on it).

There is a lot wrong with football, not just Suarez, but the "man" is wrong, bad and scum. You cannot bite anyone in any walk of life without serious consequences. Add to that, it's his third offence. His punishment must be long and hard. Personally, if I was in charge, I would ban him from Internationals for life and 12 months from any football. His despicable actions should mean that he has no place in the football arena.

<laugh>

And a week ago Suarez said: "Before the game, too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years," he said.
"This is a very good time for me. I want to see what they think now."

After his ban, hopefully a full year, he should be forced to wear a mouthguard for the safety of the opposition players.

Yes Croc, massive repercussions surrounding his actions but that is all down to the fact that the officials didn't see them. It is impossible to turn the clock back and give retrospect punishment to the country or club involved although I can't tell you how choked I was with the cost to us at Anfield last year.

This is an individual crime and he should be absolutely hammered. Neither Uruguay or Liverpool should suffer but ultimately will because any lengthy ban will leave them missing a fabulous talent........ collateral damage if you will. Unfortunate but necessary.

My view yesterday was a 12 month ban from all competition and Im struggling to sway from that opinion. If FIFA don't want to impose a ban on domestic competition he should get a 2 year international ban.

Ultimately this is the THIRD time now. If missing 17 games for biting doesn't stop you doing it again it's clear the punishment must be more severe.

Sisu, Astro, UiR and Tobes have been hilarious in that thread. All bitching at each other
It kept me entertained all day whilst I was bored at work.

To be honest I am sick of hearing about Suarez and seeing the goofy cnuts face on every page of BBC and SSN and every other sport site I go on.
No point speculating as to his punishment, we will know soon enough, probably today even, so no point guessing.

"A Norwegian football fan has scooped a cool £500 after betting on Luis Suarez to bite somebody at the World Cup in Brazil.

Suarez has twice been spotted biting opponents in recent years, so the punter thought he’d put £3 on the striker to take a munch out of somebody at Brazil 2014.

And low and behold, towards the end of Uruguay’s clash with Italy, he bit Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini – triggering the bookmaker to pay out.

With odds of 175/1, it was a pretty amazing outcome, despite Suarez’s reliability for biting his rivals."

I think Suarez gets off light with this ban. I am sickened that we may have to witness him playing in our country again.

Liverpool are the real losers here and it is harsh on them. I don't see how they can support him again when he has let them down so badly.

Money speaks and they need to find the best way to manipulate their position financially.

All said and done the lunatic will be back in a heartbeat but I very much doubt our media will be so easy to forgive this time and lick his arris as they did post Ivanovich.
