No, they don't add up I'm afraid, you don't get a longer ban for kicking someone a third time. Logic fail. You should join the FA

You do, ask your new mentor Joey "stubbed a cigar out in a team mates face" Barton

3 times, plus other incidents. Too right I hate him <ok>

Pepe is also a scummy player.

Do you get longer for elbowing or kicking someone a 3rd time?

Also, at least admit you've hated him since the handball please. :D

We know what he did was out of roder, not dangerous, I just don't get why people think this is worse than dangerous play. it goes against our sense of whatever but some reality please.

he will get banned, he served his other bans. Life goes on, not the end of the world. I just don't get the hate Drogs, it's football ffs.

international where the crime took place, don't care up to fifa to decide, club games, well brings me back to my point that no one answered. if he had done this in a liverpool shirt and got banned from Uruguay games how many would be arguing that's unfair on Uruguay as the crime took place whilst playing for club not country, and also we pay his wages not Uruguay.

if you think he should be banned from all games fair enough as long as there is no alterer motive :bandit: but it could open up a can of worms as far as country goes as if you have a member of your team who has lost his marbles and is unpredictable (he isnt the first and wont be the last) would the club be willing to let him go on int duty incase he does something stupid and the club get punished as well as a result?

Cantona was banned from football worldwide

So how long a ban should he get and for which competition's?

For me, 6 months, all football. 3rs offence for someone who hasn't learned. He would be in jail in the real world for it due to repeat offences. He would be considered a danger to the public too.

Downside is you lot would get to keep him

you are letting hope and bias enter it.

i feel fifa need to be strong and ban him for a year for internationals.. (12 games) and suspend a further 12 on good behaviour thereafter. fifa have to reinvent rule book for your suggestion.

theres no point talking "real world" as we might was well drag de jong and pepe back into it then. its a football incident deal with it as such

So anyway, Suarez. Has he been watching Series 5 of The Wire? Always considered that particular storyline a bit far fetched myself.

Ah yes, the fake homeless serial killer that McNulty concocted in order to get Overtime for his fellow officers.
Awesome.
That would make Sisu Scott Templeton! <laugh>

If you continually contravene the rules the FA increase the ban. I did give you a clue ffs

I already posted that the FA do this, to UIR duhh, keep up. Also, he only broke that rule once in the PL. The FA are a joke though, that no one can argue

FIFA are not the FA but also, the exposure of this and the mass discussion will almost guarantee a harder sentence.
Waiting on Cameron's two cents. <laugh>

This from last year ... if at first you dont succeed eh

Proves the lads not a quitter but also a f**king freak

Anyhow this was on Uruguay's watch

I just cant get enough

And rightly so. Do you reckon Suarez deserves the same punishment?

3rd offence for the same thing.....I think an international ban even if it's for 12 months, wouldn't cause him much of an issue. I think there's a case for a football ban worldwide, for a period., but there's no precedent for that so it's highly unlikely imo

Cantona was banned from football worldwide

for leaving the field of play and assaulting a member of public which brought the police into it. he was given community service by the courts and his ban as indeed worldwide

a drugs ban is enforceable world wide and has been.

an incident within the pitch of any type has never been punished so... it would require a totally unprecedented ruling. a ban in cone country domestically may or may not be transferable. bans in european action do not go domestic or vice versa.... again... its more hope than anything else that he be banned globally

Suarez is just the result of what happens when you take kids from poor, lower class, troubled backgrounds and put them fully into a first world corporate machine with the accompanying constant attendant media scrutiny, obsession around money and commodities, no psychological preparation for how to handle that and no proper personal guidance, just agents and club professionals looking to get the best deal possible and in turn treating them like an object. Not all of them are going to be squeaky clean and consummate pros, not all of them will cope with that life. Some because of already present behavioural issues as with Suarez (he butted a ref when he was a teen so someone should've thought we've got a live one here'), some because the pressure just gets too much. There will be anomalies, glitches in the system. He's one of them. The football culture is also the problem. Not defending him, he's a nasty batard, but it's not really that surprising.

His ban will have immediate effect, which will be unfortunate for Liverpool.

It was discussed on the radio this morning about its effect on sending players for international duty, its not going to help, but other players are professional, so i can't see it making much difference.
I would suggest that Rogers take a hammer to Suarez's kneecaps before internationals come around, maybe he did before the world cup this year seeming he had that surgery <whistle>

If he had been available from the start of last year, you could have won the league and if hes not going to be available again at the start of this season, it could ruin your chances again!
I really can't understand why Liverpool fans jump to his defence!

They should have quit after series 3 ... ffs 4 was holier than thou bullshit and 5 meh omar getting killed by 6 or 7 year old and jimmy the serial killer faker meh
