Works hard. Big, powerful lad. Actually has quite a bit of skill when he gets a bit of time on the ball. Never got in enough goal scoring positions for me. I like him, but he'll never score a lot of goals.
He is big and physical. Works hard like Party says. I also dont think he will ever score many goals for us. I would think he would probably score a decent number in most other leagues though. I still cant see him leaving us to come to you. We would need to sign 2 strikers to make up for the loss of him and it seems unlikely we would let him go unless you came in with a really nice offer.
Yea. I didnt necessarily mean a top league. Although he had 9, 10 and 6 in consecutive seasons in Ligue I. That isnt the worst total ever.
He wasn't unsuccessful at all, I always rated him. He scores goals when he has to and his finishes against Southampton and Everton were great. He was cheap for us to buy and gave us something different up front. Will he bang in 20+ goals? No, probably not, but he'll put himself about enough and he's strong enough to keep from being pushed off the ball. The only downside to his play is that he drifts wide far too often. He's actually a decent crosser of the ball, but it's a bit difficult putting a cross in when the person that's supposed to be on the end of it is him. This move would come out of the blue, but a lot of Ivorian players seem to like Turkey (Drogba, Eboue, Zokora, Bamba to name but a few), I'm guessing it's a religious thing?
Just been told Sagbo's off back to France or off to Turkey. 2 clubs in talks apparently. Seems an odd one that. And that'll teach me about not reading before posting, again.
I believe and would hope that there will already be players lined up should this happen. Maybe they are thinking one more, with Aluko, Long and Jelavic making up the other 3. I don't think this will be enough to compete on all fronts should we pick up injuries and suspensions, which we will. Maybe bring in a cheap 5th option????

Well the Allams certainly cannot be accused of not backing the manager. (sorry for the double negative but that was the best way I could think to type it).
