What has Luis Suarez done!
The Liverpool striker appears to BITE Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini while challenging for the ball inside the Uruguay penalty area.

 

If he gets suspended maybe Steven Gerrard could stand in - he played a blinder for Uruguay last week.

 

Well I suppose it shows that he hasn't lost his appetite..... for the game.

 

I turned over and watched the cricket..... much more absorbing.... shame we didn't quite make it

 

I wonder if Suarez had a Chianti to accompany his Italian meal?

I agree YH - Unlucky in the cricket but shouldn't rely on the last duo!

One measly point from England is a disaster really, fine lines between winners and losers really. Now I can concentrate on enjoying some of the better games to come and not be concerned with England, who are deservedly on their way home. Also, fair play to Costa Rica getting out of that group.

On another point, Suarez should be banned, bet Liverpool are sweating on it a bit too. FIFA will probably do nothing mind.

According to some sources FIFA have it in their power to ban Suarez from all football for up to two years. Bet they don't though. Liverpool fans seem to be getting themselves into a bit of an argument as to what should happen to him.
