OK after your thoughts on Durham CC what do we all think of tennis. Must admit I watch it for two weeks get all hopeful that a Brit will win it and then turn off when they all go out. At least with Murruy we get to watch some of the second week now LOL
I agree the game is to far today and you dont get the serve volley game of the 70s. May be they need to go back to wodden rackets
I'm watching Nadal right now, and the lad he's playing, Muller, is giving him a real game. It can be a fantastic game, but the sheer power of people like Nadal sometimes makes it less of a spectacle, sadly. This kid is returning everything though, and serving superbly, it's going to a tie break looks like first set, and he's taking a lot of points of Rafa's serve.

Watching re-runs of Top Gear on Dave. Seen them all before and still more interesting than tennis now.
Tennis was full of characters back in the 70's, Jimmy Connors being my favourite. Todays tennis is all about the money and how hard you can serve, there are zero characters in todays game. Soooooooo Boring!
