Alec Salmond could sort it all out <ok>

Alec Salmond is bringing the issue to a forefront that it doesn't deserve. Maybe some of you have a story but I've never encountered bigitory in my normal day.

It's a football issue, which can be easily sorted without some wee shortass politician thinking he's going to get votes for sorting out a problem that isn't there.

NOTE TO ALEC: Get the ****ing police to do their jobs at football matches, job done.

Racisim and bigotry is pointless pathetic rubbish. Any body that hates another person because of colour or religiion is a stuipd insular peace of crap. I'm sure there's a few posters on here that hate catholics or protestants.

THICK ****ERS

this <ok> xenophobia is the road to go down imho

So what does Adeybayors father wash then?

Never heard any United fan sing that (I believe it's a Spurs number), but even if we did, I don't think you could say a song, which could very easily be mistaken for another football song unless you listen to it, is as offensive as some baboon standing yards away mimicking an ape in a fairly intimidating fashion.

You don't always have to be right Rebel.

so if I do listen to it, it is racist?:emoticon-0140-rofl:

No, I don't have to be right all the time, but in this instance I am.
I know most football clubs will have an number of supporters who are racist. Man United are not immune from that. Nor, unfortunately are Celtic.

very few clubs still have a large number of fans who will chant racist ditties en masse. Unfortunately, they still exist.

So Man United fans are racist but we're all from China. We can't win!

I am just saying that there is evidence of racist behaviour amongst individuals at most football clubs and evidence of collective racism at some.

Finger pointing at individuals is not indicative of the wider support. Pointing out a collective racism is a more valid criticism

"So what does Adeybayors father wash then?"

I don't get this, must have missed something. Is this a racist chant or something?

There's a song that says his dad washes elephants by Tottenham and Man Utd fans.

It's not extremely offensive but it could be viewed as racist.

I've never heard it sung at OT. Cue the "that's cos you've never been" ripostes.
