I understand that Everton have all but eliminated this element? all clubs have it to a greater or lesser degree and it isn't just about skin tone.
Yeah, they have to be fair, but they were one of the most racist clubs at the time, chanting things like N*ggerpool at Liverpool because Barnes played for us. Still, there was stuff like this as recent as 2001: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...fans-to-face-away-ban-over-racism-619909.html
They were renowned for it in the 80's and early 90's. Amokachi in 94 was only their second black player in their history I believe. a big deal was made of it at the time. Thankfully it isn't an issue any more.
And some people wonder why we call Everton bitter, just look at these chants: This was in 2001 aswell, Everton are just a backwards club tbh.

Oh, that. I thought that when you said "stuff like that", you meant stuff actually like that and not just one ****wit. You get them at all clubs. It isn't like thousands of people were chanting racist songs.
Racisim and bigotry is pointless pathetic rubbish. Any body that hates another person because of colour or religiion is a stuipd insular peace of crap. I'm sure there's a few posters on here that hate catholics or protestants. THICK ****ERS
