Meanwhile, Arsenal target Chris Samba has begged Blackburn not to block his dream move to the Emirates.

Rovers rejected an £8m bid by Arsenal for the defender, as they want £12m-£14m.

The clubs held more talks this week, with Arsenal also juggling a possible move for Everton’s Phil Jagielka.

Christ, I would love the lad here. He epitomises the never say die attitude.

The lad has the heart of a lion & is strong as an ox.
 
If he wants to go to them he won't be happy coming to us. I'd say we're a step up from where Blackburn are, but there's a good few steps between us and the Arse!
 
I remember last season watching Blackburn, Samba got sent off & he was completely gutted. ****ing distraught.

I love the guy, if I could pick anybody to sign for us it would be him.
