Belgium are my dark horses, I think they have a brighter future than England.

This is my tip for the first boring game, cue a 5-5 barnstormer.

I wonder if Ecuador will try and kick the Swiss all over the place as they did to England? Shaqiri has been followed by a lot of PL clubs, he can't get a regular place in Bayern's team at the moment but he's a big talent...

The Swiss have obviously been looking at our corners.

Yes, it reminded me of one of our unmarked goals conceded from a corner. Not sure if that was due to "zonal" rather than "man" marking, but that just looked like "no" marking.

Plus short corners at the other end that get nowhere.
The Swiss are duller than a dull thing, I've never seen an exciting game involving them yet.

That shakiri should go back to singing!

I think both England and Belgium will have a good shot at the Euros in 2 years' time.

Yes they can! Walter Ayovi swings a peach of a free-kick right down the corridor of uncertainty and Enner Valencia is on hand to thump in a close-range header. Not sure what Swiss keeper Diego Benaglio is up to - he was stood behind his goalline when the Ecuador striker put his noggin on the ball. Strange.

John Hartson - BBC Radio 5 live

"I asked for a good delivery and it was a fantastic one - right into the heart of the six-yard box. The marking was dreadful, where were the Swiss centre-halves? But it was a good header and great start for Ecuador.
"Just seeing the replay now and the marking was truly dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. I think Johan Djourou was his man. A simple goal for Ecuador."

1-1, super sub - Ecuador get a dose of their own medicine from a corner.

Well they finally got shakira off set pieces as he went short or booted them right out of play and they score from the first one he doesn't take.

The Swiss player went for glory instead of the pass....and they almost get stung by Ecuador on the counter.

Yet another good goal wrongly ruled out, when will they use video evidence, its literally a goal, pen or red card wrongly given/not given every single game.

Unbelievable, end to end chances, but 2-1 to the Swiss - a real heart-breaker for Ecuador.
