He wasnt all that great, and all though he is improved...Arsenal should really be looking at a higher level of striker to lead their line. He would be an upgrade on Giroud, but not enough to dramatically improve your title chances.
It would be pointless buying back a player who didn't want to play for us.There is an interesting comment from someone on that Arseblog article about the club of announcing any transfers until the PUMA deal kicks in.I think PUMA would be pissed about any new players being photographed with a NIKE shirt.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWlFKxi8C4I He had a good season last season. He looks a LOT stronger than he was before, and also (as much as YouTube shows) appears capable of putting in a good cross. There were plenty of direct quotes from him recently saying Arsenal should activate his clause, yet none saying he wants to stay. Personally I'd like to see him brought back. He's worth more than 14.5m Euros, and he could be the balance to Theo on the right that Arsenal need on the left. He is absolutely worth the risk, and if he hadn't been at Arsenal before I think people would be excited about the prospect of him coming in.
Daily Express reporting that Chelsea are after Alex Song from Barcelona now........... Anyway Anyone think that buying Griezmann would be a good move instead of Vela? He's a wonderful talent and wouldn't break the bank either. And he is French.
Joint 6th in goal scored in la liga (16) Joint 4th in assists in la liga (12) From RWF not CF He would cost 3.5 million pounds. For comparism Di Maria got 4 goals and 17 assists last season and Bale got 15 goals and 12 assists. I am not saying he is a better player. But it is beyond stupid not to sign him if he is happy to come back. Even if it doesn't work out we can easily sell him for 10-15mn next summer. It literally is a win win scenario for us. I
Yep, I realise he's played largely on the right, but he is left footed and he'd provide good balance to Theo for me if he played on the left. Some of the goals he scored came from the left.
So basically we've made 17 million without even doing anything. Add a bit more and that's a Coleman as RB right there.
Was meant to indicate that he got those goals not as a CF but as a WF. Not an indication that he cant play on the left for us, like you said.
Reported in a lot of red tops and some more reputable papers today aswell.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...al-to-join-Manchester-United-this-summer.html
