He's been having problems at Barca, which has nothing to do with his ability which is proven. Even not being happy he scored 13 goals and assisted 22 times!!! He will terrorize teams in the Premiership.
Where did you get your stats from, on transfermarkt it says 19 assists for league. Either way, he will get some serious returns for Chelsea.
Correction: League stats: Cesc - 8 goals, 19 assists Ozil - 5 goals, 10 assists Open your eyes and you'll realise how bad a decision this was.

They were already a better squad than ours and now they have added two World Class players. We need to add at least 3 just to catch up.. which just is'nt going to happen with Wenger in charge.
Only delusional people wouldn't think that Arsenal made a mistake here. Even an unhappy Cesc got a whopping 19 assists with 8 goals, just imagine a happy one? The guy is an even better version that Arsenal had, and we know how dangerous he was then.
Those stats are pretty misleading, makes Cazorla look like he had a worldy when he was pretty awful last season
Yeah.. Im not sure how Fabregas will suite Mourinho's style but he's a FAR better player than Ramsey, Wilshere, Roiscky or Arteta. He was the best player in our squad for quite some time ..and that was a squad that included RVP.
This doesn't tell the whole story does it? How many times was Cesc played out of position? How many times was he a sub? He wasn't happy at Barca and when he's given his proper role then we'll see him flourish like he did for us. For Ramsey to match Cesc, he will have to do it for a whole season and for a number of them. Cesc is in his prime and is one of the most complete central midfielders out there.
You can make a player like Giroud World Class if you use the right stats. Cesc is better than all our midfielders bar Ozil, who are on the same level. Comparing Ramsey to Cesc at this stage is insane.
I would add I don't mind that we didn't sign Fab. But we have to compensate for that by chasing a min of two WC players. Chelsea managd to sign 2 for 60mn surely we can do the same, as well as adding three solid players (be they young with potential or old yet experienced). If we do that and do it quickly ( ideally before august) then no complaints. But if we get the same **** as the last few windows than I will be furious. Wenger's no players before the WC theory has already been proven as rubbish. But lets see.
I'd hasten to add, that I think Wenger wants to have a better idea of the players on offer before he signs anyone and is planning to do some scouting at the WC. Some of our targets are featuring in Brazil and it would be a perfect opportunity to assess them before making a decision. I know Aurier for one, is definitely a target and may come after the WC; RB is an area we desperately need to strengthen in, not midfield.
We've signed one (supposedly) WC player in the last 10 years, there's no ways Wenger will suddenly go and buy another 2 or 3 in the next window
It's just not going to happen. Wenger won't bring himself to spend the cash. We had a whole spiel about how he wanted to bring players in before the World Cup.... I'm waiting.... If he can get over his reluctance to spend he can still take us forward but my feeling is he's not going too. We will go cheap and French.
