You said the Scottish League was Mickey Mouse last week. You can't now decide that 24 clean sheets means something!

    Guzan is tosh though.

He could've been first choice at Swansea! I think he'll play at Wolves. Hennessey always gets dropped or injured at some point during the season.

Doesn't matter much though. If they don't then Leicester are looking, if they do then Leeds are looking (although they're looking for a backup anyway).

The goalkeeping situation is a tad worrying, I expected either Mannone on loan or Guzan would've been one of the earlier signings.

I still think we made a bad call on letting Duke go...

It is a poor league, but 24 clean sheets in 44 games is pretty impressive, whatever league you're in.

The problem with comparing "clean sheets" is that is very dependent on the quality of the defenders around the keeper.
I thougt Guzan did OK and of the names banded around on this thread he seems the most likely option. Would very much like to see Manonne though. I wonder if our scouting network abroad is up to much as I'm sure that in France, Portugal or Holland, (perhaps less high profile leagues) a good Championship level keeper could be found for reasonable money.

Sorry OLM but even I could keep 24 clean sheets in the Silly Pointless League.

    It really is that ****.

yes but his 24 were in a Joke League. so they dont count.

I am happy for Mark Oxley to be No.2 the lad needs to move up now and show what he can do. Macclesfield game is perfect for that. I expect the No.1 to be one from Brad Guzan - Fraizer Forster - Matt Gilks - Thomas Kusiak et al.

I think Oxley will remain at number three.

I think No.2 could well be Chris Weale.

    I hope No.1 is Forster(or Murphy)

Weale would be a great number two. I think he's on a free too? Or maybe in his last year of a contract?

Foster would be a great number one, but I ideally I'd like a number one in on a perm.
