The one with Quinn and Phillips on i didnt like and its not finished, Quinn/Phillips was fine but the lifting of the FA Cup was black and white, so tried to make it look red and white, hence the background, and it didnt work very well. I will piss about and see what i can come up with though, and as for present day players, just look at the toon board, they are already asking for a new banner as Nolan has buggered off. I dont mind doing a new one every few weeks tbh its just mick is the only one that can put them on.
Typical Mod reaction can't outdo my sparkling repartee, so go for the low blow. Never mind the months of hard work that went into the banner, anything to score easy points. Not that I'm bothered, I actually bought the straight razor today as I fancied a change. The tablets and whisky at my elbow are there by chance. The rope on the bannisters, I will admit is harder to explain.

it will though, if you imagine it on the forum with the transparent border covering it. it cuts off the bottom and the top of the image so you cant see the legs and the head gets cut off it you place them too high. Like on yours you cant see the water or the reflection at all until you view image background, personally i cant stand the forground crap on here, it cuts the banner in half. Any pictures you upload need to be as high quality as possible, it makes it easier for him to use in Photoshop. Otherwise you spend more time trying to get rid of pixellation.
I have seen a good pic of the womans team actually, all lined up, cant find one for the mens though which is typical I could use that pic if done a leicester type banner, but to me there is to much on that one, I like the cardiff banner, but light blue makes it easy on the eyes and doable, red will make it harder and too bright and maybe not get the transparency right as well. Think i am going down to the cemetary today again, so if i get time i will have a go later on + i have just woke up and cant be bothered to do it atm lol
I am not 100% happy with this, but getting kicked off the PC for my daughters to watch a film, 1 thing i will change is the background, and maybe the colours of the gates and penshaw monument, obviously if ppl say its **** then i just wont bother changing it, but at least if you say its **** have something constructive to say as well. After JoRvIk-jOe comment about it last night, i was scared to come back into this thread and been putting it off lol incase there was all sorts of negatives lol But i see his comment and my reply have been deleted, but i have had 2 PMs off him apologising, so everything is fine now (it did piss me off last night though lol) My wife has gone to her mams today and for the night, so i may work on them and get something final, but i have Star Oceon TLH to play, got addicted last night and was up till 7am playing the thing, 10 episodes of Game Of Thrones to watch, and True Grit, so i may not get a lot of time, but i will se what i can do. I am contemplating doing a few 1 with the stadium/badge 1 with players/badge 1 with Quinn/short etc 1 with past history (which may be hard lol) Like i told JoRvIk-jOe i will never ever please everyone with 1 banner, someones necter is anothers poison as they say, and even if none of them get any votes and the one we have wins, I dont really care, I am thoroughly enjoying doing it, and also learning new techniques all the time (like the faces on the latest banner)
Joe asked me to delete the posts Steve and just to explain, not excuse, Joe was on a respite last night from his 24 hour care role, de stress mixed with a drink or two caused his reaction. Joe is a good man but like us all sometimes ****s up. Sad thing is I know the last person Joe would want to upset is you after the trauma you are going through.
