I just didn't see the reason for having a go about whether Stan, or anyone else was right or wrong about Harry on a thread about the upcoming season.
Never let a fact get in the way of finding some way of giving yourself a pat on the back because no one else will... Warnock's name isn't even mentioned!
Flyer... Stick to the point mate, and not try to deflect your answer. Warnock's name, nor his leadership is mentioned anywhere in the article where you, misleadingly, state he agrees with you!
Jesus Christ Swords!!! You’ve pestered me on another thread with this and another one today. I ignored it because it didn’t deserve an answer. I asked whether you “knew” we would go up after defeats like Blackburn, Charlton, and Sheffiield Wednesday. I then said So you go digging through the threads to come up with this from Blackburn match thread You didn’t say I think we will go up in automatics. Which never happened anyway. You didn’t know Kiernan and McLean would miss. You didn’t know 10 men, domintated and shot on target and we beat Derby. So my post still stands. All that we knew was that we would get in the play offs and we would have a punchers chance. You ‘think’ we might go up. No one and especially not me would have disagreed that even in our lowest moment that while we couldn’t manage it in the league through the autmatics. No one was ruling out the possibility of winning the mini cup competition that is the play offs. So as I said in my original post. I have nothing more to add. Unless you can prove how you knew McLean would miss, Kiernan would miss and we would beat Derby in the final even though we had ten men and 1 shot on target.
That's poor form mate. It really is clutching at straws. Why can't you just acknowledge that I seen something in the team that perhaps you didn't? (BTW, I never said anything about automatics so I don't know what you're talking about there. I said "go up".) So just to surmise, you said this "You also knew after the perfomances like Sheffield Wednesday away, Charlton away and Blackburn away that we would get promoted???" presuming I suppose that I was as downbeat as you moaners were at the time (Yorkie very nearly topped himself that night). And I pointed you to this http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...ead-)/page14?highlight=blackburn match thread and another post further down the page on the matchday thread of that night, proving that I was still very much of the opinion that we would win promotion to the Premier League. If you still can't find it in your heart to say, after such a poor performance that night, "you know what mate, when everyone thought we were doomed, you still believed that this team and Manager would bring us through", then I'm afraid you're an egotistical maniac. Its very easy to say we won't do this or we won't do that etc, especially when the chips are down. But when someone predicts success against the odds, the last thing they need is some begrudging kunt who got it all wrong, instead of holding their hands up and admitting as much, squirming and trying to split hairs that aren't even there in the first place. I must admit, I've lost a lot of respect for you Damage. I thought you were a bigger man than that.
