I have just started a new job which is out of the country, Its basically a month away and a month at home. as this means i will miss approximately 50% of home games, does anyone know if there is an option to sell games i can't see back to the club for them to resell, and if so is there a limit to how many times this can be done?. I don't want to give up my pass but with the price rise I`m still undecided.
I'm absolutely staggered that you don't have a ticketing partnership. We have an agreement with Stub Hub where you can put your season card seat up for sale, you set the price and when it's purchased, the club prints the sold ticket for collection at the ticket office, super safe guaranteed tickets. It also helps when I went to sell my seat so I can buy two together to sit with a friend or my lady. It would be worth getting in touch with one of your supporters groups to see if they'll enquire to the club for you, you'd have a better chance of getting a system put in place. In this day and age there should be something like this for the Hull fans.
This is Hull City you're talking about, they paid thousands to install scanning machines at the turnstiles to do away with the staff, only for a couple of technical blips they now have all of the staff who scan the ticket for you!!!!!!
I heard the 'blip' was that it undersized, so if everyone skimmed through at the pace we used to, the system couldn't handle the amount of data it received and locked up.
I noticed in the terms and conditions, it now says that any adult caught trying to get in on a concession ticket can have their season ticket cancelled without a refund. We did have a system where the club bought back season ticket seats that weren't required for individual games and sold them on, but there's no mention on it on the OWS Tickets FAQ's.
Same with us. Stewards now assist you with the scanner at the turnstile, while they sacked all the old fella's who used to take the tickets who wanted a bit of free income in their retirement years so they can have a drink down the clubs. Sad.
How about asking fellow fans if anyone wants to share a pass there must be some who can't afford a full pass but would go half and see half of the games. The pass would be still in your name so if you ever was able to go to all the games then you would keep your seat
One of my mates is a prison officer and he is in a 3 way share system with 2 colleagues due to the varied shift pattens. They say that The only problem with this is that you are at the mercy of the shift time/date and fixture date/team. Last season they all got to see a big team. My mate only got lucky with one big game but that was the 3-1 Liverpool home win. It is a good way to do it in a situation like you have.
