    ...... why?

I'm just watching this ****e on ITV, 'Ryan was crying' or whatever it's called.

I looked in because of the Sunderland game but had to mute the sound with the repugnant sycophantic commentary.

On the day before the real heroes on D-Day this has to be one of the most sickening programmes ever seen on national TV <doh>

"Here's Ryan choking back the tears, here he is tying his laces and here he is bravely knotting his tie."

    Just **** off eh?

I know one thing. He's got a better managerial record than Shearer :p

12/13 premier league titles about 4 f a cups, 2 champions leagues medals, I feel sorry for him ! what the hell is he on about, they gave him the 4 matches out of loyalty, cos they had nowt to play for.

I doubt D-day would register with many younger ones nowadays. Maybe if similar circumstances were repeated, today's youngsters would hopefully just get on with it as their great-parents did.

Speaking to my cousin in UK recently and she had come across some papers from WWII where her mother had been in the forestry corps of the land army.

I have studied WW2 rigorously over many years and I agree the lads were men at 18 not so far back. The D-Day landings and the planning and may I say luck, will never be forgotten in my abode..<ok>

I was amazed at how 'amateur' his tactics and preparation were, not much more that 'go and enjoy yersels lads.'

Despite all those years with Ferguson he doesn't seem to have learned much.

Van Gaal will pat him on the head, put him in charge of 'cone placement' and shuffle him out within a year.

Don't think they showed too much depth just snippets of what they do.

Yeah I know Joe, it was just a bit of an 'old pals' atmosphere.

I was basing my view on what I'd seen from the Sunderland match when it was played.

His tactics and subs didn't really work and Poyet ran rings around him.

He didn't seem to get the players up for our game and it was one of our easiest 3 points imo.

Unfortunately the powers that be don't share your sense of perspective, only a tiny minority of the viewing public are interested in Giggs and his cronies, but a vast majority recognise the importance of the 5th and 6th of June 70 years ago.

    Well said Smug.

I didn't watch it either, fairly harsh to say he needs his legs broken though, how've you come to that conclusion?

He's not ready to be manager at United, needs a stint outside the top division to prove his worth in my opinion.

Couldnt bear watching it! I'm surprised the media can gush over a man who repeatedly doinked his brothers bird! Actually, I'm not surprised at all!

Its no good fans moaning when we see people like giggs who are so rich that they lose all track of reality and are so arrogant because at the end of the day it is us fans who are enabling the situation, We pay inflated prices to watch 90 minutes of multi millionaires kick a ball about.....Who are the fools at the end of the day???

It's not just the behaviour of the player on the pitch that shapes my opinion. It's also behaviour of the pitch that counts.

Doing your own brother's wife is beyond the pale.

No amount of sportsmanship on the pitch is going to wash that away.

Speak for yourself, you're the one who pays inflated prices to watch ****e sideways crap. I'm more than happy with my investment and the return I get on it.
