Don't spoil it. It's not often that peace and harmony break out all over the world. The Taarabt era is over and I have taken a vow of silence about him. It's just too exhausting having to rein you and him wot lives upside down about him. I'm just surprised that some others seem ready to forgive Granero for being frankly appalling for all but his first three games. You seem to be on my side of the fence. For once!! Long may it continue. Have to say i'm disturbed about all of the names we've been linked with. How about you?<cheers>

I am not sure, but Ned's "insider information" shouldn't be overlooked. One thing's for sure, next season is going to be exciting. Let's get this World Cup sorted, role on August.

Of course he wants to play in the Premier League, who wouldn't. He contributed to one of the worst ever season seen at QPR though, so has lost his chance.
Let him rehabilitate his knee on someone else's time. Prove his dedication to the cause by accepting a loan to Yeovil whilst regaining match fitness?

Hmm. I really don't know what to think about this. He looked truly great at first but seemed to buckle under the heat. Now that we have a much more together team he might do well for us again.

And if he really wants to play for us then who could argue with that? If we bring him back and he's no good we could always sell him on during the Winter. With that said, if his wages are sky high then send him packing.

After a promising start, he found it difficult to cope with the hurly burly of the Premier League: he was too slow on the ball, had no pace and took an age to pass the ball! I can recall one instance at Loftus Road when he went on a dribble and succeeded only in going round in a very small circle. It was quite comical.

I'd need some persuading to keep him. He had his chance and didn't look like he would ever get to grips with the pace of the Premier League.

Presumably if H Redknapp decides he wants him back it'll be ok though? (sorry mate, couldn't resist it).

I thought we'd already done this thread? I like Granero, which is almost a guarantee he'll be an embarrassment if he comes back. He's been on the bench at least at Real Sociedad, so fitness should be ok for pre season.

I think he was one of a few that came across as a good person in that disastrous season. I think many would have struggled in that team whether they were Messi, Ronaldo or other players from top clubs. I am thinking with a more settled core and experience of the league he will offer more this time around.

To be honest sb_ I'm pretty indifferent to Redknapp, believe it or not. He should've introduced Yun sooner, should've tried out a clint/onouha partnership at Dunne's expense, should've been more visible on the sidelines throughout the season Etc.
His knockers are so vocal though that I feel I've got to go in the other direction for the sake of balance. Some of the criticisms are truly farcical

That's pretty much my sentiment. I think it was the state of things at our club that made things difficult rather than the pace of the premier league. He can definitely do a job there.

As for players like Messi and Ronaldo not being able to play well at our club in the last EPL outing, I'm not so sure. Those are world class players.

Yes, but when you're playing with world class ****ers (Boswanka, I'm looking at you here), I think anyone would struggle after a while...

****ing woeful overall for us but had a very limited number of good games. Needs to stop playing like such a tart and he might go 10% of the way to paying back his ludicrous fee.

If he's not a huge improvement this time both in attitude and output he is an unwanted passenger.

Not sure he's the first player I'd think of for a relegation battle. Luke warm about this

Definitely welcome back in my book, he could do well alongside Joey or even Henry.
