Not a lot stronger than last season, considering how much we might have to spend.
I wouldn't buy Pelle; I'd go for someone a lot better. Ings would be nice, but probably a bit expensive considering the risk of him not being able to step up to the challenge. Lukaku and Bony we won't get, Finnbogason isn't good enough, Lacazette is just all pace, Aboubakar may be good enough but I'm not convinced. Picking a striker is a really difficult thing to do, but I hope we hear some new names because I don't like the sound of these really.
De Vrij would be nice, as would Martins Indi or Virgil van Dijk.
I'd like a new attacking mid, even if we keep Lallana. We're still not quite creative enough. Sigurdsson would be nice.
How very boring of him.
Anyhow, back on topic, I know DTLW wasn't against Magath, but please, please let it be Koeman. I actually have the vaguest sense of excitement bubbling away again regarding the possibility of him coming in.
I may test that theory by asking for odds on my dog. If Pancake slots in between Koeman and Magath, you know you were right!
Under the circumstances I think if we had a squad that was "not a lot stronger than last season" in august I'd be pretty chuffed.
That said, I'm not well versed on the strikers, and I agree that it's a hard thing to get right. I suggested Pelle because of the Feyenoord link, but other than his goalscoring record this year I don't know anything about him. And we don't want another Van Wolfswinkel...
I wouldn't be against signing Hernandez either.
Agree about Sigurdsson, if Poch still has any feelings for us he might let us have him instead of letting 'arry get his grubby hands on him (grrr)
But Shteeve would definitely take us to Champonsh Lig.
Sigurdsson and Hernandez added to our attack would be immense, though a striker of a different variety would probably be needed in addition. Shouldn't cost too much either, though the difficult thing could be wages and whether they'd actually fancy the move to a club not in Europe.
just looked up `fruit chew` on the urban dictionary, its not there as a sing entry so had to find them individually
FRUIT
1. some one who is a flaming flamboyant homosexual
2. a very tasty edible snack, in which one might find a nice sweet pleasure from
1."MAN, those are so FRUITY boys in the cub scouts"
2. Eve shouldnt have eaten the forbidden fruit, yeah cause that god damn snake was mean
Chew
dirty south word for sucking dick; giving head, brain or blow job
Dat hoe, Ticey gave me a chew til she turned blue!
...............Is that really how you like to be known ?
