You pick on one thing, repeatedly in a pathetic attempt to discredit the whole argument, further you ignore other aspects which have been consistent and because one poster said they didn't understand you wield that as convincing proof (of what I am not sure).

This, as a debating technique is not only transparent, it is also therefore shallow and ineffective. If you are looking for a match, I'll take you on and your over-inflated ego in the real world where you cannot hide. How about evolution? Maybe it will make me see the light and become a God-fearing citizen.

You are nowhere near as good as you think you are, but hey don't let that stop you from trying <ok>

    True.

Pity really as the new religion was beginning to make progress.

We had decided that a female alien of loose morals had taken the remains from a galaxy sized blast furnace and created the universe (inluding the earth of course).

I was expecting her next move to be bringing forth a deluge (chuck water over it) to cool it down. Alas, not to be.

The bickering has taken over again. Spoilt.

    I`m off. Not fun anymore.

I have told my children that Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy are real. At a suitable age, I will tell them why I believe God is not real <ok>

    I'll tell you why, politely.

It's because this is your thread and your argument so you have some responsibility.

You made a ludicrous claim, to back up a ludicrous argument, that I proved to be wrong.

If you'd answered that point, instead of ignoring it, I wouldn't need to repeat it.

That is your problem, you just have a tantrum and start wildly smoke-screening when you've been shown to be 100% wrong.

Then you attempt to get other people on your side as you've done again on this post.

    It's pathetic but predictable.

If that's all true ......... who's shagging the nuns?

Or are the priests all 'equal opportunity' shaggers?

OK, this is a true story and I'd swear on it so '**** off' to anyone who doubts it ....... I have no reason to make this up.

We went to Turf Moor the last time Burnley were up, lost 3-1 iirc, and we walked along a road from our parking spot to the ground.

One of the lads spotted some 'novice nuns' in the upstairs window of what we assumed to be a convent.

We started waving etc and they waved back. We started shouting and they opened the window and shouted back.

One of our lot turned round, dropped his pants and mooned them .......... one of them lifted her skirts and responded in kind.

It completely stopped us in our tracks and we stood motionless while they pointed and laughed at us.

We were too shocked even to grab a mobile and take a snap.

To this day it's one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

If someone else told me that story I'd just think they were bullshitting.

Reminds me of the seven dwarfs when Dopey asks the mother suprior if there is a dwarf nun in the nunnery and she says no, so he asks if one visits the nunnery now and again and she says no, and when he turns round the other dwarfs are singing Dopey shagged a penquin Dopey shagged a penquin.

I don't know how else to put it, you kill threads and you do so frequently.

I'm asking you to stop doing it.

When you talk about footy you're OK and quite knowledgable, I have no problem with this. When you become entrenched in this kind of debate you seem to take pleasure in grinding people down and winding people up, even to the point where you tell people they're throwing a strop which is simply another dig that stirs the pot. When people say to you '**** off' or 'sorry had enough of this ****' you become vitriolic. So it goes on and you are ruining this forum by it.

The words in bold illustrate this, are you the only person that cannot see it, or are you trying to redefine the word polite?

There's no vitriol whatsoever, it's a bit of fun on a little chat forum.

You made a ludicrous comment that you couldn't back up when I asked you to.

You still can't just say 'I was wrong' can you?

How is asking you to back up your claims, in a debate, ruining the forum?

Don't be so daft ....... this **** thread didn't need killing, it should've committed suicide out of shame <doh>

"you the only person that cannot see it."

And there you go, speaking on behalf of the entire board as you often do, pathetic.

Why do you always try to gather support, can't you fight your own battles ..... no, don't answer that.
